Services

Program Description

Magnanimous Minds is a family adult day care owned and operated by Paige Berlin. Magnanimous Minds provides professional and compassionate daily care and supervision for up to 12 adults with intellectual impairments. The participants will be involved in daily activities and community outings. Magnanimous Minds’ program services include, but are not limited to, social activities, personal care, therapeutic activities, and community involvement. The program will operate Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 4 PM.

Program Activities

Activities shall be provided that meet each individual’s needs for nourishment, social stimulation, support, companionship, activity, exercise, and rest; this includes at a minimum one nutritious meal if present 4 or more hours, snacks as needed, personal assistance as needed, and recreational opportunities. Participants will also have opportunities to attend appropriate community activities.

*Transportation is provided by Magnanimous Minds. The operators have a valid license and carry liability insurance; the vehicle will have safe tires, brakes, and properly functioning headlights, taillights, and seat belts.

Program Fees

Program fees are based on the individual’s capabilities or needs and reviewed annually.
*These per-day rates include healthy snacks and lunch except for “Half Day”.

Level One

  • Eats independently. No monitoring of special diet or medications.

  • Participates in group activities without special modifications or frequent intervention.

  • Occasional stand-by assistance to walk or transfer safely.

​

  • Can use the toilet without assistance.

Level Two

  • Requires regular supervision and/or assistance in social or personal care activities.

​

  • Requires frequent intervention.

​

  • Requires assistance with ambulation, transferring, catheter, toileting or feeding.

​

  • Requires a special diet, medication, or oxygen.

Additional Services

In addition to our core offerings, we provide supplementary services such as transportation arrangements and assistance while showering.
